If I were Everton boss Roberto Martinez, I would be a little bit tempted to play on the break against Manchester City - for two reasons.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez
Score reflects performance - Martinez
Firstly it would mean they do not surrender midfield to City in the same way Chelsea and West Brom did, and also because that approach probably suits Everton anyway with Romelu Lukaku up front.
Whatever their approach, they are up against a City team that look very motivated and are also looking very strong.
After their win over West Brom, I heard City described as looking 'angry' and that is a great way to sum them up at the moment. It is also a real positive because they are channelling it in the right way.
Lawro's prediction: 0-2

Merton says
Everton looked good against Southampton and pulled off the shock result of the weekend, which I don't think many people saw coming.
But Man City have looked very good so far. I know it's only two games in but I don't see Everton living with Man City if they play like they have done so far.
Everton is a tough place to go but Watford went there and made chance after chance and I think Man City will as well. I don't know how Everton are going to live with Aguero.
