I was surprised at how many Bournemouth brought. They looked like they'd filled all three tiers. Fair play to them their fans were noisy and the team tried to play football unlike other newly promoted clubs. Hope they stay up.

Yep Bournemouth sold out their allocation.

Chelsea didn't sell theirs out, plus there were more seats available in Colin Bell Stand/North Stand corner apparently.

Still surprised to hear the attendance as there were a few empty seats as usual in the North Stand level 1

I think those seats have all been paid for and therefore count. Unfortunately little Britney couldn't make it as she had a birthday party to attend

Did the minutes applause for the Bournemouthean City fan go ahead?

Ah was that what it was for? Everyone just started clapping during the match, so I'm assuming that's what it was.

yes it did, it was a small clap at first as a lot of people were wondering what it was for, but it escalated quickly and the whole stadium was clapping for the last 10 seconds of the 49th minute.

Didn't know that. Thank you.

49 is no age at all.

I seen that one of the papers reported our figure to be around 34k. Why they'd do that I don't know.
