but played well over four. It looked like he was willing Bayern to get an equaliser. However when he could have gone down Levandowski chased a lost ball , so no penalty.
Bayern had over 70% possession, made well over 600 passes . Were better in almost all areas of the pitch except scoring the goals. So What does that tell us ?
Yet we 'struggled' Arsenal were heroic ( yeah really).
Yes, some sports journalists have very selective memories... Particularly those that are either ex-Arse players, or are fans of the team, since childhood! Worse than this CL victory, was the press reversal of reality, after L'Arse defeated Watford, with direct help from the ref, Mike Jones!
On the other hand, it was fun to hear the London-based commentators ridicule last year's media darlings, Chelsea, during their draw with Dynamo Kiev. When Fabregas was replaced with Oscar, they actually showed various clips of Mourinho making insane gestures, on the sidelines! One of the match commentators then said that Mourinho looked like he was preparing to sub himself on, instead of Oscar! His co-commentator stayed silent, after that very funny dig at Jose! They also said that Chelsea always looked like they could use more attacking power, even last season, when they won the title. They said that with Aguero, City always looked like the team with better goalscorers...I hope this praise for City, made the Chelski viewers extra happy!
