Today, our game plan was fine and we were brilliant defensively which gives us a proper option in tough games as opposed to the Counts normal fingers crossed. At the moment, Bony isn't good enough and ya Ya, Srirling and de Bruyne had off days but the system worked well. I thought before the game that Pellers made a mistake dropping Mangala but Ottomendi's display was a real positive for the season. Overall, a good day.imo

I bitched about dropping Mangler but I was wrong. Beardo was fantastic.
Bony is absolute dogshit. He should be looking at a spell on the bench with Nacho getting some burn. But I doubt he will be benched. It's really a shame we bought him. Hardly played last year with the ACON bollox then injuries. Injured most of preseason allegedly wtih Malaria. And playing like a fucking bow legged statue since he's come back. The player that scored at Swansea won't find that in himself here at City. I'm convinced of that. Not good enough. I hope the Count is dispassionate enough to see it the same way or else we will eventually pay for it. A serious downgrade from Jayko. Can you imagine a year ago you might be able to say that seriously?
Cheers

I'd imagine Nacho will get his chance on Wednesday night but there's no real point in completely shattering Bony's confidence by starting a kid ahead of him in the league games, especially when that kid is likely not going to be around in a couple weeks time when he gets called up to represent Nigeria in the under23 ACON.

U23 ACON what a joke of a tournament that is? That's pretty much on par with international friendlies
