The first time I saw him was away Rhyl against their first team of giants. Just 15 i think and not eligible to play apart from friendlies. He was tiny and for the first half did the standard job of a wide left player, up and down and not trying too much but in the 2nd half we got the glimpses of what he can do.
He travels with the ball brilliantly, sees tackles coming and rides them well and does it at pace. Sounds like Messi! Well there are definite similarities but lets not go OTT just yet. He started playing for the under 16's while his clearance got sorted and you may have seen that team has been outstanding this season. Not all down to Brahim as they are a great group of players with fantastic skill and goalscoring potential. Jadon Sancho is another at the same age who has fantastic skill and goalscoring ability.
Eventually he got his clearance and has become a regular in the under 18's. From what I have seen he hasn't starred at that level yet although he has shown glimpses of great ability. He has also been given a variety of roles in that team already from a wide lkeft position to the 10 role and even as the main striker for a while in a recent game. He seems to be finding his feet against the older players and so far has shown himself as a team player rather than an individualist but that individual talent is there without a doubt.
Personally I think he is a star in the making. Gut feeling is that his head is screwed on right as well which is important and feel confident City will handle him quite well to get the experience he needs. If all goes well ( fingers crossed no injuries like Pozo got) and it would not surprise me if he is in the first team thinking when he is 18.
But watch out for Sancho as well. He is fantastic to watch and in his first 18's game he scored 2 in the first 15 minutes and basically ripped the opposition apart. Oozing with confidence and you really must get along to watch the 18's if you can as these 2 in the same team ( and it's a quality team anyway) would be something to behold.
