The good news is that there is no outstanding other team. We can and should win it, especially if we get Dave and Vinny back.

Dave is our big loss. He creates the space for the others to cause havoc. And whilst it's covered in another thread I think that Nasri being out at the same time has compounded the blow.

Keep the faith. We have a better team than the competition, a better manager - I'm sure we can do it.

I agree that big Dave, French Sami and Vinny are all big misses. Any team in the league would miss them. I just don't think our recruiting has eased that situation. It also doesn't explain MPs selection yesterday.

Our current form doesnt bode well and going into a period where we're going to play 2 games a week for the next 5weeks I'd like to think that yesterday's game took that into consideration, giving a rest to certain players.

At least if we can beat Juve, who have quite a few injuries, it will mean we can rest players in the last CL game. If that doesn't happen, it's no walk in the park, even the C1C has banana skin written all over it.

Nottsblue talks a lot of sense imo. And he's not normally critical so it suggests something is wrong as indeed it is. Imo in my view the problems are these.
1 The manager and his assistant aren't very good.
2Our Skipper is integral but cant be relied on to be available
3Our striker ditto 2
4Ya Ya our best player once is a busted flush
5Our reserve goalkeeper, centre backs and striker are not good enough
6Our most creative player seems to have a permanently vulnerable ankle
7We are like 14year olds begging for a half hearted wank off Guardiola and finding him in the back seat of a 21 year olds new car

If we could get our best team on the pitch together we would stroll it but we cant and history suggests we wont. A proper manager would take a look at that and deal with it. Maybe yesterdays second half team was a glimpse of the future. Don't COUNT on it, lol

In regards 7, is this a thing? Do 14 year olds often beg Guardiola for a half hearted wank? Why a half? Why not a full hearted one? Is there a Bookface group for this?

IF we can get Kompany,Hart,Daveed and Sergio on the pitch together for the last 95% of the season we will be cool.

Whether we will or not is another matter.

If it was me,in the summer i'd be looking to bring Denayer back,sack off Mangala,wave bye bye to Martin and buy John Stones oh and Barkley give Everton enough cash to make a start on a new stadium.

I'd also wave bye bye to our fully dead manager.
