Dave for me. KdB a close second and would have won in any other team; and the Otter was class.

What's heartening is that the competition in the squad for a first team start is really hotting up. We will find out over the next few weeks if it has a positive impact - I think it will, but Pellers will need to ensure there are no undroppables!!

Really difficult one. The were right at it last night, except Mangala who seems to get worse.

Went for KdB purely because he is Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo end product. Everything is direct, he scores goals, he makes goals. Nice one Txiki.

That said Silva ran the game so that's why it's an impossible choice.

He's fast he's strong. But his poistional sense is dreadful. And that clothes line tackle he did last night got a deserved yellow card then he did another yellow card offence later which, luckily, wasn't carded.

I was always willing to give the lad a chance, but unless he's playing against a big lump like Costa or Carroll he seems very, very dodgy.

Stopped a counter with the first yellow he received.

The second incident you're talking about he was fouled when the Hull player jumped into his back, apparently that's ok according to Mike Jones but then when the two players grapple for possession Mangala is fouling.

I thought overall he was fine last night, snuffed out some through balls with great judgement of opposition runs.

He could've stopped him without decapitation. Seriously I dont think think he is at CL winners level. He also always looks a tiny bit shaky on the ball. Not Lescott-shaky but certainly not MDM or Otamendi composed

Kompany Yes
Otamendi Yes
MDM Once but not any more
Mangala No

I wouldn't be averse to Stones to be honest but I cant see Everton selling, It would have to be a nasty tricks, tap up, Sterling job driven by the player.

I just don't get it John. I do rate Vinnie and Ota higher than him but no way would I rate Stones higher.

Thank god Shawcross is suspended on Saturday. He was a certainty to give Dave and Kev some GBH.

Charlie Adam is probably gonna play though. One of the slyest most dirty players in my book

Ture that. However, he is even slower than when he was at the dippers. He is going to look a fool chasing shadows and shooting from 80 yds.

You don't need to be quick to kick players though. Only tackle them. But that's not part of his game and that's what worries me. He would just as soon as hurt someone and pick up a card than play football

Is he? I thought he missed last night's game.
Was it not a one match ban for two yellows?
