Hate to say it... But SWP? Excellent for us, earned us 21 million but the move was the wrong one for him and he never lived up to the price tag

That's not the same to be fair, he was over priced for sure but never really talked about and raised to be something he wasn't as most of the players in this thread have been.

He was class for us first time round, our best player when playing on the right, in the middle or up front, should have been in the England squad, but as said above he wasn't rated as highly as he should have been, you needed to play for the big 4 back then as the media where having a love in with them cunts. The season we were in division 1 with KK and he played 3-5-2 with wing-backs a SWP was on the right he was absolutely quality! Was devastated when he left for Chelsea and couldn't believe it when he came back home!
