Don't expect anyone to understand or give a fuck, cos brown cost £150 million and city should be able to cope with anything thrown at them so it's ok.

We are well and truly on our own, it's time the club recognised that and stop letting everyone walk all over us.

I've said it before; I went on the stadium tour a few years back and the facilities and what they put on for the media is second to none. The guy who was running the tour mentioned that City can't understand why we get so much grief from the media when we do all this for them.
There comes a point when you just have to say enough is enough and start treating the wankers like shit and giving them nothing - apart from Samuel.

At the ground I assumed the ball had gone out by the time he was scythed down. Impossible to say he wasn't scythed down. Stelling's obviously confident it won't be replayed on sky

Cheers pal. Almost on a par with the Aguero at Southampton one last year or the rags one in the FA cup in '95(?) that's been mentioned recently, which are the two worst decisions I can remember. How Nicholas can say it's the correct decision without being biased is tantamount to gross misconduct by being blatantly not up to the job. He was a fancy dan as a footballer, a nancy boy as a dresser (check out his outfits from the '80s) and a piss poor, boring pundit.

FUCK OFF

Wonder if they showed this to the soccer panel. Cunts

Nicholas was probably drunk. I'm sure he muttered that he'd pissed himself before talking bollocks about the challenge.

Nicholas and Walsh are the two most anti City panelists on there. I can't use the word pundit as that would suggest they have a valid opinion and argument and know there stuff. Watching it at the time I thought "just our luck, could've had a penalty and won the game but ref made right call for once". Schoolboy error

Walsh disappoints me. As I said in the 10k post he was my first ever favourite City player. I'm assuming he wasn't treated well when he was leaving as there's no other reason for him to have the animosity towards us. Quinn was a fan favourite and he's acted like a right turd ever since we've been taken over. It's only recently that he's decided to throw a few compliments our way. I'm sure OD said he saw him on some night out and Quinn spouted some bollocks about the club losing its integrity and isn't a family club for the fans any more? Beagrie is another turd.

Mills is but no one is arsed about that twat.

It's usually Summerbee, Lee, Marsh that constantly have our back in the media.

Feel the same about Quinn. Hero as a player, yet feel badly let down as a broadcaster. Having read his autobiography though he doesn't really mention why he dislikes us so much. He did mention his injuries were possibly mis-diagnosed and his rehabilitation was shit but whether that's enough I don't know. If he came out with a genuine reason I think I'd have a bit more respect for him

I'm a bit surprised that the jealously has lasted as long as it has. I would have thought that it would have subsided by now, but outsiders had probably hoped that our owners were short term / didn't know what they were doing / insert optional cliche. It's now dawning on them that we WILL NOT fail; the future is ours.

I also think that racism (perhaps subconsciously) is a reason for the hatred and for the hard time we're getting in the press. If our benefactor was a Christian American, German or Russian, or even a Chinese of whatever denomination, instead of a Muslim from the Arabian Peninsula, I do not think we would get the flake we're getting. How often do we get to hear "Arab owners", "(dirty) oil money", etc.

Yep. Spot on.

The hatred includes your average white van football fan so they're sure to hate "the Arabs".

Re: subconcious racism - just to add to the point, if our owner had been an American oil billionaire how many times would the phrase 'Oil money' have been used as an insult against us? I'm guessing none. How many times would the US human rights infringements and use of 'torture' have been mentioned? I'm guessing none.

Even using the term "oil money" is offensive imo.

Sure, these countries made their money from oil going back years, but to label is solely oil money, is discrediting one of the most successful businessmen around.

How the fuck do these cunts know the money spent on City comes from oil?

I reckon it comes from the vast profits the guy has made on numerous successful business ventures.

But they wouldn't like that to be printed, would they? No, it doesn't suit their agenda.

And I've been having a think about this whole agenda... it's all down to the media.
Ferguson used to influence officials. Officials can be influenced. It's human nature.

If the papers are printing their bile week in, week out, they will in some way, influence how these officials think and act. We are the anti-christ according to the press. The officials are reading this every week- is it any wonder it's been four years or more since they helped us gain points?

We need to concentrate on the media and the rest will follow. What the answer is, I just don't know. But you can bet your bottom (oil) dollar that the guys at the very top are well pissed off with the treatment we get.

Propaganda is well and truly alive.

It's not difficult to google a list of the owners of the PL teams, extract any race , religious or cultural information. Then extract through google a list of owners of the various media outlets ( including talkshite) and identify the owners based on the same criteria of race , religion and culture.

You would get some interesting correlations.

Our owners are damn fine Abu Dhabians.

i have no idea what religion they are, i also know nothing about their culture. I could not tell you if they feel insulted about being labelled 'Arabs' , as some may find an association with 'Arab terrorists' offensive.

At the end of the day our club is supported by people of all races, religions and cultures and i believe we are the better for it being so.

I remember an old guy smiling one time in the Kippax, a grin so wide ! I had seen him for most of my school years and later , always in the same spot. I had no idea. He was so proud, his Kaziu, his Deyna was playing for his team ,Man City. This Polish migrant had come to God's own City and God's own club to watch football and became a City fan.Now he could watch his home country's hero in the flesh every other week.

These things make City great .
