I haven't erased the last cup final from my memory! It was when we beat Sunderland. Hope that helps...

It all stemmed from lack of effort. Watch the first 20 minutes of that game again and you'll notice the massive difference in attitude between both sides, we came out with an arrogant, blasé attitude whereas they came into the game all guns blazing, the game was over before we decided to wake up and start putting a proper effort in.

Sally Big Nose on BBC Sport this morning said that Kiev hadn't had a competitive match since whenever - as if to say there is no way that City should lose. Or am I being a tad hyper-sensitive?

Maybe a tad sensitive mate, but it's normal to be weary of the media. DK have been on their winter break but have played quite a few friendlies in sunnier climes.

They will be ready for this, be assured of it.

I am concerned going into this match with the idiot we have in charge.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

They're a seasoned European team, winter break or not, and no pushover by any stretch of the imagination. If we're not up for it we will be out of 2 competitions in the space of 4 days

Worse than that, we could vbe out of 3 comps in 8 days; 4 in 11 days if we lose to the Dippers next Wednesday!

Yes Beefy and it's possible that we'll be well on the way to the quarter finals of the CL have a Cup under our belt and made it back into the race for Premiership. Let's be positive while we can!

Yeah, that's how I see it mate. Just wanted to emphasise that it could always be 'worse'. Us fans don't know how good we've got it sometimes. Here we are in February, still fighting in 3 corners, and could've been 4 if the cunts hadn't fucked us over with scheduling.

I see like this. We had to make a decision on throwing the FA Cup in favour of 3 other competitions. The Rags, on the other hand, had to fight it out just to have a realistic chance of staying in 1 comp, against a club 60 places below them.

How times have changed.

Fern 2 is useless, such a pity we have no one else. I thought Aleix Garcia was everything Fern 2 should aspire to be last week.

then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like tonight's ref isn't too card shy, he's issued 40 yellows & 2 reds in his last 9 games (all comps this will be only his 4th UCL game)..... Antonio Mateu Lahoz from Spain.

This is could be beneficial to us as Dynamo have 4 players who if they receive a yellow tonight will be out of the second leg.

Danilo Silva, Serhiy Rybalka, Nikita Korzun, Vitali Buyalskiy.

Us on the other hand have no players who would suffer a similar fate if booked.

Also i read somewhere that Andriy Yarmolenko their biggest threat (13 goals in 22 so far this season, again all comps) is a doubt to play through injury picked up before their winter break.

Now I've said all that, watch one of ours get a red LOL
