Frustrating to see Wenger reaping rewards of having faith in his youngsters. Iwobi played at barca and now scores at Everton.

It's an approach barca also use, bedding youngsters in. City don't seem to have that confidence in youngsters. Maybe they're not good enough but if we don't slot them in from time to time we will never know.

I said just before the season started that our young squad members needed some bits and pieces of game time over the season in case we had an injury crisis - when we had an injury crisis one of them was out on a season long loan and the other hadn't featured very much. Who ever had the biggest input into letting Denayer go on loan needs to be fined for poor planning. Whoever (and I'm looking at you Pellegrini) thought it would be ok to rely on an injury prone captain and an ageing and slowing defender as cover should also be asked for an explanation.
