We lost but we were much better than them. Aguero should have had a hatrick trick. It's not all pellers fault. Two Subs were forced and getting Demi off was a must. I thought fernandinho was excellent and fernando did well when he came on. Just a shame about making a GK sub as it meant Iheanacho couldn't come on. Pellers is poor at times but there wasn't much more he could haveasily done yesterday. We were not clinical enough at the end of the day.

Get on the slow lad, the word in changing rooms from Stoke to the Etihad. that is the only error he needs to make & time and time again for results like that happen,The manager has never learned from his STUPIDITY. A goal we all saw as possible as soon as the team was named, and one they knew they could get if they get him and Manago exposed. As for battering them I saw a team content to hit us on the C.A . What PSG will do to us is scary ! Let alone a tight Dean Court next week. Sorry mate we have not battered anyone for a long time and I count the Villa game, when again we were a shambles for 45..

I keep seeing the same thing time and again about everyone knew what would happen as soon as the team sheet was read out. Can I just say that Rashford did not outpace anyone for the goal which is being touted, Demi dived in and got megged, it wasnt pace that let Rashford score, it was Demi diving in just the same as Otamendi has done all season in every game he has played.

Martial and Rashford got to balls all game that should be mopped up why play a fella who is so past his sell bye date, that you then take off as he is now being targeted by two forwards who have pace. The effect is we are always vulnerable to a C.A Willy saved us from a 0-3, De Gea had 1 save to make a Navas effort, Carrick to the out ball. MDM first thing he does retreat, LVG must have thought we are in here, keep that going. Aguero is doing it himself BTW The scum worked the goal off a poor clearances a misplaced header for the goal. Rashford does what he does scores goals, he will do that all day every day if against that type of terrified player, MDM was a nervous wreck and sorry should be nowhere near our 1st team.

I am not disagreeing that MDM should not be near our first team. However, in the 1st half yesterday he was actually OK apart from the stupid dive in. He was positionally good and Mangala was very good. It was after half time where MDM looked he had alzheimers and was a liability, pellers substitution was spot on and we were very comfortable with Fernandinho at the back.

You cannot play any type of press with no pace at the back in a Derby FFS, Ok Ferna drops in but by then your hoping not working to any plans, that is where this manager fails time and time again. MDM is not the only one who is gonna get stick. With him in there, we have no out ball, no pass teams no that ! so they sit back, Carrick insulates them on his own BTW & gets a free reign the game settles down with the scum like the scousers, Stoke, Spurs looking like they have 15 players, Result Kun gets isolated and starts drifting 1st half, that's the start of the war being lost and how end up losing.lets be fair 4 points to them is Pellers doing. Rags are pissing themselfs at us and how brittle we are. We are shot, game done, season fucked and 6th/7th mark my words we are getting done a few times more with this manager and his tactical bag of shit.

the biggest question is why does he insist on bony over nacho?

nacho shits on rashford.

the new quesiton will be why does he insist on Demi?

The alternatives? Tosin (Manc). Fern1, Sagna....

To be fair anyone other than MDM is a positive. I have seen enough of Tosin to know he would do a better job and in the Chelsea game i think he showed his capabilities.

I do get the feeling that the team ( key players within it) do think that Bony isn't good enough and I wonder what possesses Pellers to keep throwing him in in front of Kelechi especially after saying he has full confidence in Kelechi.I worry the poor lad's confidence will have been knocked by not getting chances recently.

Peller's has mismanaged the squad this season of that I don't think there is much doubt but I don't think there is even a 1% chance that we will get rid of him before the end of the season.

And last season as well. And no, this is not an all out attack on Pellegrini, but he fucked up in this department.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Neither do I which confirms we have a very strange way of running the show. We can take heart from BVB they are now flying after a mess of a season when Klopp announced he was off. No CL we might as well blow the Europa like Bodgers did. It might just give Pep a year to sort us out and win a domestic treble.

When Yaya plays as part of a midfield two and Demichellis is playing we generally conceded 3 if not 4 goals. It was obvious to me (and to everyone else in the pub before the game) that we'd lose that game and it just goes to show how crap the rags are that they only managed one goal.

The last time we played with Yaya in a midfield 2 and MDM at the back we won away against Sunderland

Well, you must be a glass half-full type to remember the win against an abject Sunderland team. I couldn't get the Liverpool game at home out of my head. Or any number of poor defensive performances this season from both players.

This takes a little pressure off the club regarding our league position, then, if we don't go for the nuclear option and top 4.

A good thing we have already qualified then. Imagine if we end up 7th or some shite like that. Not beyond the realms of possibility.

Better to be in it than not. Maybe Pep will give the youth a run out

Mind numbingly bad. The starting XI was wrong, the substitutions were wrong, the lack of any kind of coherent response to what was going on is wrong.

This could apply to a lot of our games over the last 2 years. Pellegrini has turned an attacking, free scoring, exciting outfit into a beige cardigan, boring waste of time.

Is it any wonder the players can't get motivated when the bloke is so painfully dull. But he'll get away with because he's a nice bloke. IF we get top 4 we'll be very fortunate.

The players aren't exempt from criticism but this falls on Pellegrini for me for his blind faith in a flawed system.

Begiristain needs to be very careful as well because the recruitment at the club on & off the pitch of late has been poor (I'm trying to be kind).
