I keep seeing the same thing time and again about everyone knew what would happen as soon as the team sheet was read out. I am not disagreeing that MDM should not be near our first team. However, in the 1st half yesterday he was actually OK apart from the stupid dive in. He was positionally good and Mangala was very good. It was after half time where MDM looked he had alzheimers and was a liability, pellers substitution was spot on and we were very comfortable with Fernandinho at the back.
You cannot play any type of press with no pace at the back in a Derby FFS, Ok Ferna drops in but by then your hoping not working to any plans, that is where this manager fails time and time again.
