That was funny. The referee sees the foul, puts the whistle to is mouth but doesn't actually blow.

May see the players actually want to win it now.

Missed the goal. Was it a fuck up or just one of those?

One out of Stevie G's "Slipping made easy(the scouse way) ,vol 1 " book.

In the end a penalty.

Cheers mate.

He plays for Liverpool. Seemed to always be a sub when he played for us, or out on the wing. Now though .......

Too slow. Ball passed across the pitch with no penetration and a fuck up by accident prone centre half.
Forwards too static and overlapping fullbacks putting in poor crosses
May copy and paste this for the weekend ;-)

See above, no other reason for it.

And now they have Rooney in the studio? Oh what fucking joy, he'll be pissing himself, telling us all how proud he'll be to come into the tournament without any form or fitness, then to lead the team out on the pitch.

It's not about England for Wiggy, it's about the increased sponsorship deals he gets for being there. I'm sure I heard Tyldsley say that Shrek would be there for the next Euros, as a defender.

Fucking shameless bastards.

Attitude and a shaky defence will be our downfall. An attitude of 'Save myself for the weekend' or 'These are shit' creeps into the mentality and stops players putting in the required effort.

The defence speaks for itself, we are very weak in that area.

Germany v England was the game I have enjoyed the most this season, tonight's though was a typical friendly....and England were quite poor at times.
Where was the 'quick football' that we saw in Berlin ?? Hopefully the next 3 friendlies will be more like Saturday's game. Think we need to start with Kane/Vardy, and as for 'Wayne Granny' leave him at home for the Euro's, but can't see that happening....After Kane & Vardy who should be our 3rd striker, not sure about Sturride, or Walcott for that matter. Hartlepool's Billy Paynter ?? (ha ha) That would mean that we have 2 international ,players in the Euro's !!

Fucking lol. When they beat Germany, everyone is buzzing and saying they might stand a chance at the Euros.

Then they lose to a team that couldn't qualify from a group of Iceland, Czech and Turkey....and all of a sudden it's only a friendly and they couldn't be arsed?

More likely zeh Germans couldn't be arsed, as they don't give a fuck about England (their "derby" is Holland) and last night was England's true level.

Well, wouldn't get too upset about the result, although the defence looking shaky, and Stones value dropping by the game (wonder if we will bid for him even with Laporte so badly hurt). England could have scored more goals, and both Holland goals were from questionable situations (an error and a non-given foul).

Vardy making his case to challenge for a starting place, as well as Walker, and Lallana. Sturridge not helping himself, nor Barkley despite a few good bits of play.

Don't think Walcott will make the squad as I suspect Hodgson would rather keep Sturridge and, of course, Rooney will make it.

My guess of what Hodgson would go with as as of now and if players are fit enough:

Kane, Lallana, Rooney, Alli, Dier, Smalling, Cahill, Rose, Clyne, Hart
