The Green man before the gane was amazing. I met a workmate who was a cockney Gillingham fan before the game and had a lot of beer pre kickoff. Phoned him after the game and he was livid at the time Halsey added on. Happy days

I was 14. The first genuine thing I'd had to shout about in my time as a young City fan, and it was in the third bastard tier! I remember how nervous I was all the way down to London and all the way up Wembley Way. I managed to distract myself by watching a group of idiots pricking about with their life-sized Liam Gallagher cardboard cut-out on the tube.

Is it possible to upload a photo these days or only to link to a web address? I was up at my dad's last weekend and used my phone to take photos of the photos we took of the celebrations on an instant camera. They're shitty shots, but that also makes them quite decent. They might transport people back there! Better still, it might give newer/younger and/or foreign fans a feel for the old Wembley (magical) and what it was like to win there (magical) in a way that TV never could.

So these are some from the celebrations at full-time once the Gillingham fans had moped off. Takes me right back there! I've got a few of my young self looking like a right gimp but I'll keep those private!

Brilliant, wembley looks so small!

We were sat (well, stood on the seats) down at the front to your right on them little toadstool seats they had there. When Weaver did his celebration, my mates uncle fell, took the whole row with him and collapsed a whole row of seats. Will never forget the slow motion as Edghills kick seemed to bounce 5 times before it hit the back of the net haha

It was an amazing day. Other than Dickov's goal and Weaver's saves, there wasn't much during the other 125 minutes that I can say I found enjoyable! Amazing is a better word for it.

Anyone know the link / what happened to that page or story book that someone on here put together of all the memories of the day. Would love to have another read
