Met him a few times when i used to play he was a very nice man with plenty of patience .sorry to hear this sad news RIP Jimmy and peace be with you and your family.
I used to hand around Maine Road and Platt Lane during the school holidays, watching the training, collecting autographs, taking photos of the players, and generally getting in the way.
My abiding memory of Jimmy Frizzell was that he always had time to talk to us and say hello, not all members of the City staff at the time were so willing to do that, so it was really appreciated.
