It's great news that Otter was training, and yes I think he will partner Stones on Saturday. Good to know we have a couple of CBs fit to start the season.

For all we know Aguero could end up centre half against Sunderland. He's mad as a box of frogs that Pep!

Agüero's not good enough with the ball at his feet to be a centre back in a Pep system.

Aguero at left back then?

Kolarov to play off Aguero. He can stand at the edge of the area looking to blast the ball at 60 mph in the general direction of goal. One of them might go in.

He does like scoring against Sunderland. I remember when we won the league the first time - maybe our 3rd or 4th game before the season ended, we were losing against Sunderland towards the end of the match and Kola popped up with a 60mph goal from outside the box that got us a draw. How vital that equaliser proved...

The run and shot from Balotelli for the second was rather enjoyable as well.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Another that gets a lot of shit but certainly played his part in the 11/12 season.

Yes, I think that's better. If we want a proper centre back, Messi's our guy!

3-1 down at home with just a few minutes left. What a draw that was. I got some stick that night from some Latics fans saying a point was not enough and we had blown the league. We wouldn't have won the league without that point as it turned out.

I didn't think it would be enough to be fair. Glad we only got the draw now as we would never have got to see the look on Phil Jones' face when the Sunderland fans cheered.

Jesus we were shit that day, as bad if not worse than anything we witnessed in the last couple of years. It was Mario and Kolarov tearing strips off each other that seemed to spark us into life.

Agree with you on Mario, particularly that last game against QPR, Aguero and to a lesser extent Dzeko took the plaudits for the turnaround but until Balo came on we were still trying to walk it into the net, it was his directness, peppering shots at goal that forced the momentum swing on the day.
