I know this is a knee jerk reaction (no apologies) but it seems this is unfortunately another example of a man being found guilty of being black by police. RIP Dalian.

Weird comment from FB and not one I'd expect to see from him. Like you say, drink or drugs could well have played a part. No one is getting hurt if you do what the police ask. I very much doubt the first port of call was to get the taser out.

I try to be careful about telling others what is easy and difficult because we all do not share the same life experiences even if I find myself wanting to. Does that sound unreasonable?

Are interactions with police the same for everyone? With all due respect mate I think you can safely say they are a lot more complicated than this for many people, especially if you are not white in either of our countries.

Police have a difficult job, often asked to do more than I think they should (i.e. social worker, doctor, etc.) but they are also not always saints in their dealings with others and have been known to go too far. These reports are also quite concerning as well and certainly would not the first time we have learned of this occurring:

I've had plenty of dealings with them, mainly at City matches. When I was a kid I was pinned up against a wall by a copper and threatened - for simply laughing as he was driving passed. As a fuckin kid! I know what they're like. There's some that are absolute turds. I'm sure there's some that are decent though.

Well the IPCC are investigating amid reports from an eyewitness that Police were kicking him before and after tasering him.

Sorry that is totally misleading utter fucking bollocks, the IPCC will automatically be investigating it, has nothing whatsoever to do with that woman spouting her mouth off to the press for her two minutes of fame and if anything she has now potentially fucked any possible prosecution IF the officers are charged.
