I'm not enamoured by it MC but we could use some of that cuteness tbh.

I recall one of our games against Barca at home a couple of years back, Alba slapped Nasri in the back of the head, Nasri spun around with a wtf type expression on his face and no action was taken from officials.

Reverse that scenario and you can be assured that Alba would've screamed and hit the deck writhing around in pain, Nasri would've got his marching orders.

I was always told when playing sport growing up that cheats never win, from my experience that is bullshit, especially when it comes to football.

they're all at it, messi included. lost all respect for iniesta after his "performances" against us. an absolute disgrace to the game.

Too sad and too true.

However, rather than emulate them, I'd rather have some 'hard nut' in midfield who could quietly 'go about his business' and, when making legal and correct tackles to such actors, really give them a good and proper reason for writhing about on the floor.

Interesting team selection JC.

That looks suspiciously like a 3-2-4-1 formation.

I like it :)

I expect a good performance from the lads. I also expect the mandatory rash challange / misstake that will give the ref the ultimate pleasure of sending one of our boys off.

Unlike you, as a City fan, I am hoping for a win.

unlike you, I'm realistic.

p.s: i counted at least 4 others in this thread saying they're hoping for/expecting a draw. where's your derisory post towards them?

You need to get a life then you bean counter. I don't believe there is a single city fan who is hoping for a draw let alone a no score draw. Hoping for and expecting are not the same thing you imbecile. Realist? Haha you're a pessimist, and definitely not a city fan. Why don't you go and troll a rag forum instead?

so having lost every competitive match to Barca in the past and having a player sent off in every match (or is it all minus 1?) means that somehow, with a backup keeper who is almost as bad as Joe with his feet and no fit experienced RB, we're going to suddenly turn things around and beat them? I'm am hoping for a 0-0 draw because i dont expect to turn around the run of form vs them. in a perfect world, yes, id want a City win, but im looking at everything in front of me. even when they didnt have Pique, Alba, and a RB last match we still didnt score against them.

You were saying? Moron

Playing a rigid 4-5-1 under Hughes.
