Sundays premier league games (FULL TIME)

Postby Blueboylewis » Sun Jan 17, 2010 10:24 am

Aston Villa v West Ham 13:30
Blackburn v Fulham 15:00
Bolton v Arsenal 16:00

Well after yesterdays disappointing result we now sit in 5th place level on points with Tottenham. We cant really argue with the position that we are in at the moment but we could say that we missed a chance yesterday AGAIN! But City just have to move onto the next game and perform and forget about yesterdays result!

So on to todays games and we would probably like West Ham to beat or draw with Villa.
We are not really to fussed about the blackburn fulham game.
And the Bolton vs Arsenal one which we will be hoping that Bolton can either draw with Arsenal or go one better and beat them!

Anyone watching the games?

West Ham and Bolton draws would do quite nicely, a victory for either would raise a smile after yesterday

carn't be arsed with the games today still pissed off with that match yesterday, turned the tele on and they're showing AC Milan's game instead of the Villa match on 1 channel and Roma's on the other (2-0 Milan, 1-0 Roma) seems canal + don't see Villa as an attraction ,when we're on its "the big five"

Bolton 0-1 Arsenal

Fabregas plays the ball to eduardo inside the box and he returns it first time back to Fabregas who slots it in. Great football and a great goal.

And the game before between Villa and West Ham. A very good point for West Ham and a good result for us really. The fourth position is still wide open.

i don't mind an arsenal win as it puts extra pressure on the rags, i dont think it affects us too much because im not convinced atall that we could manage a sustained push for 3rd, 2nd or 1st. It's not just because of the everton match either i just think we were kidding ourselves a bit, not that it wasn't a beautiful dream but i think not this season. We should keep our sites fixed on 4th and not get distracted with what might be till we have got a distance between us villa n totts, if that gap appeared then maybe set our sites on 3rd.hopefully arsenal will be 2nd by that time and we knock the scum down to 4th

Anyone hear Gary Speed's corker just there at the half-time chat?

"Kevin Davies is a very important player for them. Its only when he's not there that you miss him".

Mint.

You're not going down walmai, you'll be fine. I'll go halves with you on a draw

Even if their game meant nothing, I'd still want Arsenal to win!

Nice thought we're not going down. I'll believe that when we're safe though!

West Ham. If I had to support another team, it would be them. Great fans, a real club with a real ground. Hope they stay up.

Bolton 0-2 Arsenal

Bolton have started to make chances and it was looking good and looking like they could nick a draw but Arsenal catch them out and Marida is there to finish inside the box. A decent finish actually!

Good on you sir. Our next three games are the signpost of the season.

Away Pompey, then home to Blackburn and Wolves.

7 points from that changes our perspective almost immeasurably.

So another day of football comes to a close. Bolton and Arsenal was a very good game and good to watch.
And in the other result of the day Blackburn beat fulham 2-0 so they did well there!
