Jokes aside, he's German and like most Northern-ish European countries they tend to be more fluent in English than Spaniards and Argentines.

Maybe the interviewer wasn't shouting loud enough at them. That does the trick doesn't it.

I always make a point of shouting when correcting foreigners, otherwise they never learn.

Yeah these Johnny foreigners have to learn.
No wonder so few English/British players go to the continent to play football. Those bloody foreigners just won't learn English so our boys can understand them.

The whole package left me p****d off last night from a crappy referee, UEFA Corruption and topped off by patronising pundits who played for other clubs.

Especially Wio who makes all comments from an anti City perspective.
