Lawro and degenerate Predictions v Everton (A)

Lawro's opponent for this week's Premier League fixtures is UFC star Michael Bisping who is a rag loving twat. I didnt know that and I watched is last fight wanting him to win, I now want him to get battered in the next one!

On FA Cup third-round weekend, Lawro got nine correct results, including three perfect scores from the 32 ties for a total of 180 points. He was up against a trio of YouTubers - Manchester City fan Alex from Blue Moon Rising TV, Tottenham supporter Barnaby from Spurred On and Arsenal fan Reev.

Alex came out on top, with 14 correct predictions, including three perfect scores. Of course he did, city fans are knowledgeable unlike the cockney twats and Lawro.

Everton have already started their shopping in the January sales and I would expect one of their new signings, Morgan Schneiderlin, to go straight into their midfield on Sunday.

Manchester City could have their own new-boy, Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, involved at some point - but I cannot see Pep Guardiola just throwing him straight in.

Goodison Park will be rocking because it is City, and because Everton are signing some players. I am not sure the feel-good factor will be enough for them, though.

Lawro's prediction: 1-2

I don’t know what’s going on at Everton. They lost at home in the FA Cup to Leicester when they have nothing else really to play for this season. I find that very strange.

I watched Man City at West Ham and if they play half as good as that I can’t see anything other than an away win. Draws are no good for City so I expect them to win.

They had a good result with 10 men against Burnley then ripped West Ham apart, so if they can get it right and Pep Guardiola stops swapping and changing the team every week then they can go on a run and they will be alright.

PAUL PREDICTS: 1-3 (12/1 with Sky Bet)

DC should just have stopped there.

Surprise, surprise - Lawro getting splinters in his arse again with a 1-1 for the scum/dipper game

Dc's last paragraph was correct. Historically, not a happy hunting ground for us but I've a hood feeling about this one

Are you as optimistic about this game NB, as I was about the Liverpuddle game ??

As a contrast, I'm back to my pessimistic, "I'll settle for a scrappy 1-0 win", self.

I would always take the scrappy 1-0 at an away fixture. Think Everton are in a bit of a rut whilst we are coming out of one of sorts. Surely their goalie can't have another game where he saves everything like last time out as well?

You'd think not, wouldn't you ??

I don't think I'd want to put any money on it not happening again though :x
