We were missing so many quality players and we won the game. That is quality...sheer quality.
How often have our best team failed to compete against the rags?
Now our reseves have done them...:-)
I am certain that was not lost on taggart...He isn't that clueless that he won't understand his best were beaten by our scratch team.
I shall ensure the rags I meet will understand that tomorrow.
We have good reason to be happy.
I knew we were missing a lot of players (and Mancini had the bollocks to start Boyata as CB) but now that you put it down like that, last night's win is even better.

what we cannot afford to do in that second leg is sit back. we need to go at them, they dont like it at all!
another 4-3 will be fine (AET)
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Wow! I'm still wired from that game last night.
From 80 minutes onwards I was a nervous wreck and then all through added time I kept thinking oh no not again!!!!
Great performances from most of the team and I think those who weren't quite at their best are still not 100% fit (Barry, SWP)..
Now everyone knows that Fergiescum is a liar. Simple as that and now he can't get away with the excuse of playing his kids.
Hopefully we will have Ade back for the next leg.
If we lose 4-3 again we still go through right?????????????

I watched the whole second half walking back and forward in my living room. I could't sit down, I was that nervous.

HAHA
I was the same mate but managed to find time to make some top goal celebrations. Missus was laughing her guts off when I slid on my back across the living room floor on my best Paul Gasgoigne fashion! One of the upsides of having slick wooden floor.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

You can bet your bottom dollar we will park the big Italian bus in the second leg. And given Scum's general inability to score I wouldn't back against us scoring a couple of breakaway goals and taking the spoils!
