Whilst I think you are about right with the 27K that would actually go on sale, I don't think we have 34000 season ticket holders, I reckon it's about 30,0000. Of which, I reckon at least 10% will not take up their allocation due to high cost of tickets (£70), transport, work, holidays, other issues etc. Therefore, I reckon most, if not all season ticket holders would be OK for a ticket.

We have about 3000 corporates, that would get theirs within the 31K-27K allocation.

I only hope we end up having all the aggro and have longed for the day on here that we have a massive thread moaning about distribution of Cup Final tickets!!!

They anounced in the summer we were on target to break the record for season ticket sales. I know the old record was 35000 when we first moved. Plus they didnt offer any half season tkts this year

I think you would be lucky to get one at that level of points mate, good luck though as you never know.

36k season ticket holders.

A lot of them will be kids though and not all of them will be going down. I remain in hope. Not even all the adults will make the trip for financial/timing reasons too
What you have to also take into account is how many points of the seasoncard holders are first-years, considering there was a big rise from last year's figures. I think I'd get one personally.

Even if the season card holder can not afford to go, or can't be arsed, you can bet someone he knows will want to go, and he might not even be a blue. You can bet that every season ticket's final ticket will be taken by somebody.

If anyone wants a ticket at the swap in a scum stand, they are on general sale, but you have to join their membership club (urgh, painful I know) but its a way through the stiles. Had a look on a couple of their forums and there are a few posts begging for tickets, only to see people reply with, they are still on general sale!!! At which point they reply REALLY? Oh OK. I bet they still dont buy them though, stupid, Cannot get a ticket bollocks.

The swamp has rarely been completely sold out this season, albeit they get 74k+ there is still 2k available, yet no-one is able to get a ticket, amazing. Waste of flesh!

Does anyone know whether there will be a bus tour in Manchester if we win?

haha

Got a real buzz when the Beeb showed the footage of City bringing the League Cup home in 1976, I was scanning the crowd like mad to see if I could see a 9 year old boy with a face of angel and a dire need of a haircut :)
