MotM v Burnley

Can't say as I haven't seen or heard the game, only read the match thread, so it would be appreciated if a little comment was made.

Strange kind of game.

Stones probably for me.

Sane was everywhere like he always is, but his touch let him down a couple of times. That's to be expected for a young player though.

Kev wasn't on top form but that pass... mmmm

Walker. Put in a couple of really dangerous crosses and his pace is such an asset when attacking and defending. Stones played really well too. Sergio was given MOTM in the stadium btw.

The Otter his best game this season. He is better as stone gets better and ederson adds composure
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

Was fucking freezing wet and windy as fuck at the Etihad today , if this game was a later KO it would have been called off sure ! Exits getting out of the Etihad were closed because of flooding at full time , emergency exits in place where no floods . Cant be arsed with match thread as some right bollocks being posted there ! Conditions were truly horrendous !
Anyways KDB and Merlin were still going strong late 2nd half so no fatigue issues whatsoever for those who were so convinced these guys aren't actually supreme athletes , Bernado Silva showed some class and what a player this guy is going to be . Sane despite so much criticism on here from a few posters actually had a very decent game scoring a beauty plus an assist . Aguero did ok and worked tirelessly against a very resolute Burnley defence . Ederson had fuck all to do apart from run the full lengh of the pitch after the penalty to tell half a dozen Burnley players to fuck off . MOM for me though is Otter , solid again and scored a great header for the all important 2nd goal .

It's unheard of to be voting for a defender, but I went for Stones - cool, calm and collected.

My three candidates were all defenders, although KDB had the pass of the match for Sane’s goal.

Delph was great, solid in defence but doing a lot of tidy work to help the build up down the left. Stones imperious, but I voted for Otter for his defensive work plus the goal that really killed off Burnley.

I got absolutely soaked at Ashburys station waiting for the train home and had to change every item of clothing when I got home.

Silva might have something to say about that, his pass to DeBruyne that led to the penalty was every bit as exquisite.

My first view will be from MotD so doubting Stones or Otamendi will be in there. Strange, that after a 3-0 win, we'd be looking at a defender anyway?

Stones for me too. He was solid and threaded some beautiful passes. Quality.

Good to see this lad coming into his own. Looks like he could be a Rolls Royce player for us for years to come.

none of the outfield players really stood out for me (aside from Kevin's one pass) so i went for Stones. he didnt really have to defend today but his passing was incredible. he's been outstanding for awhile now
