We are playing the best football I dare say has ever been witnessed. Certainly in Manchester. We have the player of the year elect in KDB. Our squad is awesome and young enough to be the backbone for years.
We have a few injuries. This happens in football. But we are good enough to overcome the obstacles that we will face over the next four or five months. The squad has shown multiple times this season already how much they are together. The bond the players are forging in tangible.
Not signing Sanchez or Mahrez is not going to be the disaster a few are suggesting. Sure, we look a little light at present, but it won't be long before Jesus is chomping at the bit to return. Bernardo is showing why we bought him. Diaz may be raw and untried but he will get a few chances to shine. Even the injury to Sane may show with hindsight to be a good thing as he will be fresh for the backend of the season. We have enough in depth to replace him temporarily.
This folks is as good as it gets for a football fan. I for one am not disappointed at all to not get Sanchez or Mahrez. Fred would have been nice but I'll take what we have all day long. Looking forward to the cleaners needing to buy plenty of brass polish over the coming months
