Getting on the train with my carrier bag of beer from Piccadilly to Euston for 13.28 and expect to be in the sports bar by 2pm to watch a Chelsea win.

City have tweeted all bars close an hour before kickoff. I don't remember that being the case last time.

They close a bit b4 n the offices still let you buy cans even tho it's a ban.

I should be in Shoreditch sat night ! Not been since post Wigan

Meant to head down south today but shiznit came up, probably a good a thing as I don't fancy two nights in a row of being 'down with the kids' Heading down tomorrow and will be on the 13:15 from Piccadilly.

Couldn't be arsed ringing the ticket office so ended up in 524 and 30 rows back, normally get cat 1 or 2 but figured we'd be going back again next month so no biggie  First world problems!

Think we're just bag dropping at holiday Inn Wembley then on the piss with the old uns all day then we'll branch off somewhere.

Shame I thought it was change kind of day haha but it's because fuck all is near Wembley I suppose

Dad and brother going but not me, alas. 1.30am kick off here Sunday night, which is shit, but will matter not a sausage if/when Vinny hoists the pot aloft.

Enjoy the day and keep yourselves safe, Blues.

It depends,

Right now there is a vortex across europe.

The Cold wind is referred to as a 'Bise' ( Beezer) and is very cold . Temperatures are expected to drop further to -14 (daytime) here by Monday and stay there for another four days. it is a thin stream of very cold air forcing it's way through from Finland down through Poland , Bayern and over to the Alp north side.

That it should affect the UK is interesting.

Anyway, I'm in . Flying home tomorrow and pick up the London train from Stafford on Sunday 10.00 ish

We tend to usually be sheltered by the gulf stream in the UK but that is getting a bit erratic these days, it can wander off down south so the UK can become vulnerable.

That's a bit odd. Won't see all the Rags game then if they are kicking us out at 3.30,

Cheers Roger. It's my eldest that goes to all the games, Jordan who is now 20, but Sam (who is 4 and our first child together) went to his first match 6 weeks ago and loved it. All he wanted was to see Sergio score and he scored twice.

Safe trip to all, those already down there, those on their way, and the rest travelling tomorrow.

We're doing the Orbit slide by the side of the Olympic Stadium before the match tomorrow. My only concern is my symptoms at the moment, especially the frequent loo stops, so I could be like the Red Arrows going down that slide. Brown Arrows probably more appropriate.
