Short goalkeepers will always struggle yes, but that's in terms of crosses into the box and such. Given was also short but he was awesome of the line. The video you posted shows Pickford not being positioned well rather than being short.

short in goal keeping terms I mean. 1,85 isn't short elsewhere in the world. Well in Basket perhaps.

yes. the old hollywood dive. nigel spink used to be the master of them back in the day. the dive when he’s beaten by the boot up field from the canadian keeper is identical.

IMO Pickford is England's biggest weakness. He regularly makes dives for the cameras even if the shot is clearly going well wide. When he parries a shot it's into dangerous areas.

I am hoping he twists an ankle. He's not going to get dropped for poor performances, Southgate is too loyal, even for players out of form.
