Poor sportsmanship record aside - what are people’s thoughts on this as a deal?

For me having neymar would be the difference between “could” and “will” win the champions league - we’d likely get at least 6 good seasons out of him as well

Source ?

can’t be twitter because you’d be all over that. actually it could because you normally post rumours coming from there 24/48 hrs after they have first broken

I'd be close to stop following football if that happened. Neymar is close to personating everything that's wrong bwith football. Can't see it happen, though. Pep and City are very aware of the personality of the players they recruit. They don't get egomaniacs and primadonnas signed up

I'd rather wank cats than see Neymar at City. Jesus may have a better future ahead and Neymar would be a far better moral fit at Klanfield. Proper full backs that can defend would more likely see a CL trophy at our place.

If we sign Neymar I'll be done with City until he goes. Just can't stand the guy and he's not keeping with the club.

Luckily I think the story is just bullshit.

I don't think this will happen, not now or foreseeable future . We're more interested in kylian Mbappe but can't imagine Paris will sell at any cost.

So , once again , this "transfer window " is proving to be a pointless exercise.

An effective swap of Jesus for Neymar? Dont like him at all but seems to me to on face value be a reasonable swap.

He is a better player IMO and is the finished article whereas Jesus is still learning.

But dig deeper and the off field bullshit that comes with Neymar, the salary he would require and just his mardiness would put me off such a transfer. I reckon he’d always be angling for a move to Spain and wouldn’t be giving his all for us. Character will play a big part in the make up of who we sign and I don’t see Neymar having what we want. Could be wrong obviously but I think this is a complete non starter

Neymar doesn't do the off-the-ball stuff Pep demands. Jesus excels at it.

I don't think Neymar would want anything to do with living in Manchester and playing in the PL. Too cold and too much work necessary

Nah mate , hes a superb footballer and up there with Messi.
