I think at least some of this has to do with the frustration from "England supporters" feeling that certain foreign managers at big clubs are preventing top English talent from developing properly.

Sancho's play, Rice doing well at West Ham whilst Foden doesn't play like they want and Hudson-Odoi, in a similar situation also possibly on the way out of an English club does some good things and it feeds the monster.

After last night's showing I have no issue at all if they decide they don't want to be there.

Not one single Rag player for the last 2 games yet we'll see them all lined up for the game at the weekend. Come to think of it, were there any Arsenal players there as well?

Not according to the BBC:

Sterling has had a hand in seven goals in his past four England games (six goals, one assist), as many as in his previous 31 international appearances

So only 1 assist in his last 4 games, then?

I suppose you cannot class winning the penalty in the last game as an assist, although I'm sure we get points for it in the FFT. They've obviously also knocked off the one from last night as it took a slight deflection off their defender.

I'm amazed that they didn't take the assist for the Kane goal off him as well, giving it to Sancho who assisted from the bench.
