If the (2 day) late arrival, jet lag and rushed games in stupid heat aren't acceptable reasons for lack of 'engagement'... then idiocy is the only thing I see here. Fuck 'em.

Thought we played with an intensity and professional quality not usually apparent in pre-Season FRIENDLIES. We respected them by taking some of Europe's biggest stars, and given time constraints I thought the players put themselves to the public quite well.

Strange how only the Red Rag toilet paper that is the Mirror and Talksh*te are going with this story, in the British media so far.

No, he's from Bury.

Ha ha. That does bring its own particular set of problems.

Heard on talk shite that Milner is upset that
Liverpoo haven’t offered him a new deal

“ my people contacted them last year about a new contract and they said no and we haven’t heard anything since “

When he ends up at Bolton it will be that he's always wanted to play for them, they have the best fans in the world, Bolton is a fantastic town, he's finally playing with some brilliant players...

Based on PG comments he has hardly embraced this tour has he..he just moans hoping to get back with no injuries and that's not the attitude to share in a place like China...that's an attitude to keep to yourself.

There a fuckign reason we went to China.

Are you referring to CITIC Group, who has a 13% stake in CFG?

Real Betis have signed Nabil Fekir for only 20m. What a bargain.
His knees must be shot; I cant think of any other reason why he'd be so cheap and why he's moving to such a weak club

I presume he is referring to Wolves' owners Fosun International based in Hong Kong https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fosun_International%20Fosun%20International
City owners are a different company based in Shanghai https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China_Media_Capital

sorry, misread the posts - just wanted to highlight the company rivalry explanation, not a wider issue I think.

Arsenal agree a fee of £72M with Lille for Nicholas Pepe. Doesn’t look like Zaha will go there now, Everton are sniffing round now
