I’m not feeling brilliant at the moment so I am not going to this game for the first time ages. I feel oddly relaxed about it, which could just be the painkillers talking. If KDB is back, I will feel a whole lot better come kick off. On the 93:20 podcast today they were saying that City have a very good record for games after the October break. On the other hand Palace have not lost at home this season. If it all goes wrong tomorrow, I am just going to up the dose of my painkillers
COME ON CITY!!!

And the rest…
Unbeaten at home this season and I think we will keep it that way so a 1-1 draw
Wish I had your optimism…I fear the pep backlash…0 – 3
Anyone who thinks City will roll us over haven't been watching their dismal deafening displays, Kompany has left an almighty problem behind and I expect them to be panicking as much with us as they did with Wolves, defensively we are strong and still improving, our only down side is not mixing up the keep ball along the back which against City's attack could be problematical, but they definitely will not be looking forward to facing our pace which will keep them worrying and not concentrating on getting at us. We could very easily win this.
A lot will depend on Kevin de Bruyne playing or not. He is the best player in the league by a country mile.
Totally agree and if they also have Fernandinho and Otamendi at centre half I think we won't have a better chance of beating them. It is not an exaggeration to say Wolves could have scored 4 playing ball straight down the middle. On the other hand if Stones and De Bruyne are fit Fernandinho goes in front of centre halves scoring becomes harder for us and easier for them. Pretty sure when we won 3-2 at the Ethiad last year Fernandinho was injured.
Don’t think we’ll get tonked but do expect a routine City win.
Bad tempered game with City ending up with 9 men and Pep sent to the stand after our 3rd goal goes in
Stones is THE most over rated player in the league…He thinks he's better than he is…He's a liability…I hope he plays.
Often after international breaks we are a bit rusty. City out for revenge after Wolf-Traore show - afraid they will come at us hard and efficient - 0-5 the final score.
Our non-threatening attack against their shambolic defence. It's a case of the moveable force against the stoppable object. Reckon they'll beat us.
If you had seen the Wolves vs Man City highlights you will noticed that both Wolves' goals were from forward ball thru the centre. Against Man City should we play more forward passes in order to penetrate the City defence ?
We will see less of the ball in this game so when we do get it we need a quick build up with pace to really hurt them rather than the patient sideways backwards stuff we usually play…Not expecting anything from this game think we have a much better chance of getting wins against Leicester Arsenal and Chelsea.
Going off subject, as Man City love to use "Glad all over" for their beloved manager, maybe we can borrow one of Chelsea's songs after their trip to the Nou Camp, "You'll always be Spain, You'll always be Spain, Guardiola you'll always be Spain!"
Well the Canaries gave them a shock after an international break but really can't see lightning striking twice for them. If they have any sense David Silva should play the whole game and they will probably win by a few goals. Think it will be 0-2. COYP !!
I can't imagine them not scoring ... it's whether we can hit back. Either we'll be tonked by half time or it'll be a score draw.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is Anthony Taylor's first match at Selhurst Park since his infamous officiating against Everton the season before last, when Niasse's dive resulted in the award of a penalty and Everton's pretty aggressive approach to the game was generally allowed to proceed unimpeded…I happen to think he's not a bad ref...But not a great one either. Let's see how he does on Saturday.
Why for a game in London against a team from Manchester do we have a ref who lives in Manchester??
Not going to be an easy watch for us with Man C dominating possession and us decidely second best.Away win.
