I recall fans from other clubs coming out with all sorts of theories about City's league wins in the last couple of years, doping, bribing etc. It just smacks of bitterness, I'm sorry.

Also, while we are criticising UEFA for convicting us for something without any evidence, here we are doing exactly the same thing.

So lets just ignore Halsey's damning comments shall we......nothing to see here.
Halsey, who later confirmed one incident in 2011 between Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers, made the claim on Twitter on Friday night that he has previously been told by the PGMOL to say he had not witnessed incidents that he had in fact seen during competitive English fixtures.
“I have been in that situation,” he wrote, “when I have seen an incident and been told to say I haven't seen it.” When asked further, Halsey added: “To be fair to the FA... it's not them. It comes from within the PGMOL.”

When Adebayor grazed RvP’s face. Then after the match the ref was told to say he didn’t see it so they could ban him, but the replays showed he was looking right at it!

That comment makes me think about when we were well ahead in the league, every commentary/analysis show would dedicate 5-10 mins on how teams need to play to beat City. Not about how good we were, just time spent pointing out how teams weren't playing good enough against us.
And now? I've yet to see a single segment on how teams should setup or perform better vs the dippers. Instead the whole time has been spent wanking them off. Interesting eh

PL ref I used to know (not Halsey) was told on the phone to reverse the (admittedly dodgy) sending off of a City player because it had upset some business negotiations between club and PL.
