Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Did anyone enter this on the official site?
Calling all our creative fans - wouldn't it be cool to see City supporters at next month's derby wearing a special T-shirt that you had designed?
And then be able to look forward to getting the VIP treatment in the return fixture next April?
That's the dream double we're offering one lucky fan in our unique competition as we build up to what must be the most keenly-anticipated derby game in years.
City fans are already the best-dressed around on match day, thanks to Umbro's brilliant new kit range.
And we know from the websites and messageboards there is no more imaginative and witty bunch out there, as your brilliant takes on the 'Welcome to Manchester' poster confirmed.
So get the creative juices flowing and let us have your ideas for a T-shirt to wear at the derby. The winning entry will become a limited edition of 500 carrying the designer's signature.
Entries should be emailed to
mcfc@mcfc.co.ukWhen all the entries are in, we'll select the best three designs then your votes on the website will decide the winner, who can look forward to a deluxe derby at City of Manchester Stadium later this season.

I had a bash.

How about we do our own thread in the build up to the derby with our own t-shirt designs? I bet there is some really funny one's to be made that would make the Trafford lot spit their dummies out :-D

Not much choice really, the 2nd one's got a list of players inc Sylvinho+ Hughes but no Petrov or Johnson=insult & the 3rd one looks like a kid's designed it...yes i know.

I go for 1, no 2 is too busy. I like the fact that a 7 year old kid got his design into the top 3. That lad has a lot more talent than me.
I remember gettting a couple of t shirts in the 90's from that shop next to the chippy at Maine Road. One of them was Fred Flintstone carryinga giant inflatabel banana but the best was a Flinstones scene where where Wilma Flintsone has got the lawnmower out and he says to her "not now Wilma I am off to see the blues". If I am not mistaken I think the seasons fixtures were on the back.
What are they going to do with the winning t shirt design?

I will be honest, I was expecting more when I saw the competition advertised. The final 3 left me a bit dissapointed. Still, well done to the 3 designers.

would've liked #2 if the names were all on the back (and all players included), with an "MCFC" on the front.
as is, #1 for me

Suprised my entry didn't win . . . What wrong with a sky blue t-shirt, the badge and the words "Fuck you, you fucking fucks"?
