Doomy you're a wordsmith. Well penned.

That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

that's a nice write up.
classy picture of donovan ... for the record, he probably is a pussy, but he's actually quite a talented player. He gets alot of stick for "going missing" against big national sides ... but that's generally true of the entire american team, so why should all the responsibility fall on his shoulders alone.
If donovan is playing on the right of midfield and we have garrido marking him all game .. that could be a lot of trouble for us, if for no other reason that the difference in pace.

Great stuff. You regular previews keep making hit records. You get extra LM points for using hubris.

Hubris, shmubris. I tried to make an allusion to the Delphic Sibyl in my preview, but BiB, who post edited it had no clue what I was on about, so I had to drop it.
Edit: Great read Doomy!

I'm educated in Ancient Greece but know not of the Delphic Sibyl. What can I say?

The English educational system is clearly not what it used to be ...
On a serious note, I'm a bit surprised. The Sibyl of Delphi is quite a common theme in Swedish literature. One of Pär Lagerkvist's (Nobel price Winner in 1954, author of Barabbas) novels is all bout her ... "She" (there were obviously several through out the years) was an appolonic sibyl.

I was a nerd exchange student in CA. I got my fair share of Indian rubs ...
Nah, mate, it's all from the Simpsons. In Sweden an Indian Rub is called "Thousand needles". It has an almost Chinsese ring to it in English. In Swedish it sounds very plain.

Playboy Magazine Party Town of the Year, 1987 (and even mentioned in a Simpson episode (Lisa dreading that Chico State will be the only university she will get into after failing PE)). I was there 1995-1996. It was a very strange place. One day I came to school and everyone was crying. Not only that, but they were also wearing god awful batiqu t-shirts with skeletons and teddy bears. It turned out that Jerry Garcia (Jerry fucking who?. was my reaction) had just died. But what can you expect when your classmates are called Jai Cayotee Luna (he had eleven toes, I swear!), Miko Starr Bill, Marie-Anna, Summer, Moonbeam, etc. etc. etc.
I loved it though. Had a top year. American girls love blow jobs. So do I! I smoked my first joints. Top Year!

I'm not nerd enough to answer that question.
Or ...
There just soooo many good ones.
But in the same category ... Just fucking love this:

That's my favourite Family Guy episode. I love that so many people got to hear the B52s on a cartoon rather than on record.
Everyone should have a favourite Simpsons episode!

Sorry to interrupt chaps but I'd just like to acknowledge Doomy on a well crafted piece.
The preview was pretty good too.
Attack the argument of the person, not the person of the argument- except Carl.

OK then, probably the episode where the very tall guy gets Nelson to walk in front of his Beetle with the pants at his ankles while the whole town goes "HAAAA HA".
