Everyone expected us to struggle initially when SGE came in half way through pre-season then made a load of last min signings, but the opposite happened, and we took other teams by surprise, and had a great start. Same might happen again, who knows!

seriously though this will be one of the last chances for the players to play together before the 14th. due to international friendlies. (more friendlies!)
So as Bob showed he is happy to throw the new players straight as with Kolarov, we might get to see Boateng and Silva. Also i would think given the circumstances he will play DeJong and Tevez and just see how they all do. im kind of expecting us to field the strongest 11 we can at least for the 1st half. Again it doesn't matter if we win or lose it, even more so now as the priority has got to be getting some game time together for the potential starters against Spurs. Half or more of the squad will then f off for national duty, leaving just the Friday to train together, probs in London.
im not exactly sure this hasn't been made up by the Daily Mail.
Given
Boateng - Kompany - Lesscott - Kolarov
DeJong
Silva - Yaya - De Jong
Tevez
Ade
Kolarov comes past Ireland and is fed by him and Yaya while Boateng covers for Kolarov
Micah and Yaya feed Silva
Tevez and Ade to just try and get penalties
