Juventus away!

Postby Lee_Kinda » Tue Aug 31, 2010 9:53 pm

Right.....whats the plan?

Looking at hotel / flights now, but have no idea about turin at all!

Anyone know the busiest part and where to aim to get a hotel nearest?
Flights looking like Lufthansa, BA or BMI all from manchester and are looking around the 160 - 200 mark, I cant be arsed flying from other UK airports as when you start travelling around the UK, the price goes back to what it would coming from manchester.......

but dont know where to get the hotel!

So who's on it, and what's your plan?

I hear what you are saying re flying from Luton, dublin, Stanstead etc. Plus, in addition to the extra travel costs its the fucking about on the way home I can't be arsed with.

Looking to jump on one of the 'in & out' Thomas Cook jobs, £227 I think for the 1 day and £300 for an overnight.

One thing is for sure, it will be fucking freezing!
lets wish for good days but not forget the bad days

I went traveling a couple of years ago and went to Turin on my route. It is a couple of hours by train from Milan, and Ryanair sometimes offer some really cheap flights to Milan, so might be one possible route.

second this. Cheapest would be fly to Milan and take train or bus to Torino. Trains in Italy are well cheap compared to the UK. The bus didnt take too long though.

I'm seeing under £140 to Malpensa, returning Saturday.

Then €18 on the bus direct from Malpensa Airport to Turin central.

The Italians were slashing fans of English clubs well before Heysel, but yes, we're all the same breed to Juve now. One would hope maybe we would get some back up from Torino?

thats true but when we turn up in numbers, stay together ,i carn't see us having many problems also if "BINGO & LAHAD "get their crews over there should be a good piss up
as for the price ,less than 120euros return on the train for me 4 to 5 hours from me ,i wonder if that other "frog" Patrick will make it he's even closer maybe some of you could could crash over night at his place ?

Under 3 hours by car, really really can't wait, but I'm thinking of bringing a crew of drunks to Poland as well as that counts as a tour. Anyone else up for it?

I would have to echo this. I have mates who have been to see United and Celtic there and the later who has not missed a Celtic away game in twenty years rated the Juve game as the worst footballing expierence he had ever had. They get utterly miserable crowds for European games and the ones who do turn up spend all night lobbing bottles of piss into away fans. Of course if you want to give a little back the old Italian police will be all over you like a rash.
