Anyone got the clip of whether it should have been a penalty for Johnson yesterday couldn't see from the South Stand
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

Just watch MOTD and you'll see it there. Oh, hang on, I forget, they didn't bother to show it. Strange that an incident which caused so much controversy at the time and which was clearly either a brilliant tackle, a dive by new England wonderkid or a penalty couldn't be squeezed in, perhaps by reducing the number of 'jokes' in between the football.

It was a Utd/Liverpool type penalty but not a City penalty.

50/50 for me. What pissed me of more was the lack of protection for AJ once the blackburn fucktards started to get in his face. Same happend to Milner later on with that ugly spitting dick diouf. No real coverage of that on MOTD either.
lets wish for good days but not forget the bad days

more of a penalty than not. i had thought he went down quite easily yesterday, but watching that again he was bundled over with a body check.

From the BBC:
Adam Johnson was denied a penalty for the home side before Carlos Tevez and Jo had late efforts blocked by Rovers' Gael Givet and Christopher Samba.
City winger Johnson felt he should have earned his side a chance to grab a winner from the spot after going over the outstretched leg of Samba.
But referee Mark Clattenburg waved away Johnson's appeals as City had to settle for a point.

He was off balance from the first challenge by Chimbunda. That's why it might have looked to you that he dived. But there was definite contact from Samba which resulted in him going down. You could see in the replays how AJ was pissed off at Samba and I think he genuinely thought he should have had a penalty given.

I've just watched it back, and AJ was already mid dive before Samba touched him, which confirms what I thought I had seen originally. Ref got that spot on imo, aside from not booking AJ for cheating.
Had it been a rag done that, we would all be up in arms.

It was a penalty, there was contact from the first tackle, then the second finished him off. Neither Blackburn player touched the ball. When you are running that quick a couple of minor (or in teh case of teh second) major touches will send you down

Thats why some people appear bright until they open their mouth.

Watching it at full speed, I thought he went down easily. On the replay though, it's pretty clear that he gets fouled once, stays on his feet, then gets fouled again and goes down with nothing given.
Like NIge said, how is Diouf allowed to get away with standing right in Milner's face as he's trying to throw the ball in?

Blackburn and stoke get away with this shit every week. It's like the refs allow it because they know its the only way they can play and if you try booking them for it then you will end up giving out 8 yellows a game. Coupled with the fact that spackenberg is a complete and utter twat/joke/inbred retard cunt/munich we were never going to get any help against these.
How the fuck he's got away with booking Vieira after 4 minutes then giving out what must have been 20 warnings to diffrent blackburn players and still gets paid is a joke on par with fucking talksport.
**Edit** It was a fucking penalty.

In the field of play, yes. It looked to me like he was standing on the other side of the line. Surely you can't do that?

I thought he was mate. These cunts were wasting time from 12 mins in and fat sams up for next england manager FFS. thatll be the nail in the coffin for me ref national side. He even beleived they were more than worth their point yesterday. The stats say different however. he really is a dick.
