Well taken. What a terrible quick free kick though.

He won't want to come back to us but Caicedo would have to be a better option than Jo or RSC up front. Couldn't see either of those two finishing like that.

5 goals in La Liga thus far , not a bad return - as for Atleti until 2 weeks ago things were ok but consecutive 3-2 home defeats and last nights abomination mean we´re going backwards . Dominguez out at the back has been a big loss as he was outstanding last season
Anyway it´s still Atleti 2CUPS , Real 0 in 2010! ;)
Merry Christmas!

Why we'd need a new striker? We have striker of better ratio than one-in-two on loan in Levante! 11games, 6goals so far for the big man!

My god, the crowd went absolutely 'quite pleased' at that one.

Tidy finish, nothing more imo.

People get on Phil's back too much you know. He's a decent player who is young and doing very well. He could become a good player with the right coaching and would be an asset for City. Absolutely no way we should get rid at all.

From the few bits of him I've seen since he set out on his European tour 18 months ago, he's definitely playing with a lot more variety in his haircuts.

I get the impression the penny has started to drop with Big Phil,he is an awesome physical presence and has a fair amount of ability, when he does finally realise what attributes he has,i reckon he will be top class.Sadly i don't think that will be with us...

Unless he drastically improves his first touch he will not become a true top class striker imo. A decent player but a level or two from the top at best.
I'd rather have him than Santa in the 25 though.

I think his physical attributes make him look a complicated chap, but I'm with you Bingo, I'd would rather Phil, than say Rocky. He gives us something a bit different. He was just coming good, despite the offsides at the end of that Europa season two years ago.

I do think he's more of player who may benefit coming off the bench with say 20 to go, as the opposition tire, so he can capitalise on his physical strength. I don't know what you think?
