Training Wednesday 13/4

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Training Wednesday 13/4

Postby Douglas Higginbottom » Wed Apr 13, 2011 11:38 am

Not sure what I was expecting or hoping for today. The first team group was about 22 strong and the only ones missing were the obvious injuries of Boateng and Tevez. No specific news abou Carlos but he sure as hell won't play Saturday and I think probably not again this season.Razak was there along with somebody I didn't know ( I was later told he was a trialist and friend of Andreas Mancini) MJ was included and Micah played a full part. The other good news was seeing Shay Given out for the first time in full training.

All gentle stuff in the warm up routines and exercises but they quickly moved into a full 11 a side game but on half a pitch. Razak and the trialist didn't take part.Nothing to highlight in the game until right at the end when Barry got a block in on Mario just as he was shooting.Seemed to hurt a lot but all I could hear was the snapping away of the nearby cameras hoping they had a scoop. He struggled for a minute but seemed ok when Mancini called it a day and most trooped off.Micah,Vieira and Zaba did a little extra running under the watchful eye of Carminati and Mario stayed as Mancini went over to spend quite a bit of time with him( pictures no doubt to appear in the papers).Looked like he was talking about the runs he needs to make as a striker plus maybe a few other things!.

All in all a very short session and very limited in content.Just about ticking over.Probably not what I expected given the special match just a few days away.

Shit news about Carlos, not just for Saturday but for the rest of the season. Looks like Mario may become our only hope and I'm sure Mancini only knows to well the significance of his attitude towards are remaining games.

Just wondering Doug, are you going on Saturday?

Saying that, he did score 3 the last time Carlos was out.

No sadly I can't do matches.

The Carlos news for the season is not a definite but just somebody's expectation

Is that a certain someone? I've heard all sorts, from 2 weeks to never playing in Blue again. Think I'll just wait out and see how things progress.

Shame you won't be there mate, will sing a song for you.

If that fucking prick Tevez doesn't play again this season, i to fucking hope to bastard god that little ugly fucker does not get a single penny more out of our beloved blues.
He's pissed on us virtually from day one with his whining and moaning.
Get a fucking backbone city, get rid of ther ugly fucking shanty town loving Argentinian wanker.
Tell the cunt how it is and we all move on.
There's just no way a little 'twing' in his hamstring should keep him away from selection for the rest of the season.
Wouldn't suprise me if the cunt turned up in the united section at wembley?
And btw, as i got free tickets from tevezes p.a, the cunt 'Does' have a united picture over his mantle piece where he lives of him in the united champions winning team.
Fuck off Carlos, the sooner your gone the better, addie fuck os, you ugly Argentinian prick.

When I arrived they were just setting off on a little jog and the spirits sounded really good from all the banter I could hear but overall I would say it was about the same as usual. But in between the warm ups and the football game they broke into 1's and 2's and just kicked a ball between each other and uring this it did seem a bit flat. All down to perceptions and opinions of course

That's what all his 'training sessions' sound like.
Jogging and little 1 2s.
He's gotta go if we lose this.
No excuses.

Not beating League leaders & Champs League semi-finalists is a sacking offence?

what a stupid comment
