Twitter has for sure changed media forever. Imagine how "In touch" we as fans feel with the players just from these short messages. And it allows every idiot to vent his crazy thoughts, and since many high ranking people are idiots we get gems like this one from a member of the board for the norwegian version of BBC:

"Female footballers complain about bad economy. Maybe they should apply for grants from the handicap foundation. Female football is a handicap sport!".

I'll forgive him his double negative since I love him so much.

I LOVE the way Pablo keeps practising the language though. I mean, when he first came he couldn't speak a word. Now he is using Twitter! I wish someone like Tevez would take a note.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

They do indeed.

This. An very good role model for foreign footballers playing in England to be honest especially from South America.

I remember one of the first videos of him on the official page where they wanted him to say a "get well soon" message or something for someone (cannot remember the details) and he struggled to repeat a simple phrase like that.

And now he speaks nearly fluent English I think. Excellent, fucking love him!

Hard as nail, loves city and most importantly of all is a bloody good footballer.

I hate the fact that he and Micah compete for the same spot, cos I love em both.
