A pair of decent centre backs wouldn't go amiss right now; one of them (of course) being Neven Subotic.

Why, oh why didn't we sign him last summer or try to sign him in the January window ??

I suppose we could keep our fingers crossed and hope David Luiz is in the Chelsea side to face us; he's got the potential to make Savic look [strike]good[/strike] passable.

Last time i looked the kid was playing for Man City. Yeah he has struggled but we as fans need to help him and get behind him. People moaning and groaning whenever he is on the ball is not going to help.

If he plays lets get behind him and encourage him, we may all be surprised that he may get a little bit of confidence from that and do OK. Wheather we like it or not he is here so lets do our best to help him out.

Biggest game of the season, lets get behind all the lads, not just out favourites!!!!

I'd nearly go as far as to say i would contemplate giving Costel a run out over him tomorrow night.

You really have to worry about what an on form Drogba could do to this chap, it's a serious worry.

Hey ! I never groan at him.

But it doesn't stop me from knowing that, for the moment at least, he is a LONG way from being a premier league class player.

Savic cannot play tomorrow night. Whilst I hate to see a young player struggle or look completely short of confidence, tomorrow is far too big a game for him to play.

If Kompany can't play, then Micah has to play centre back with Zab (if fully fit) or Milner right back.

Although just to add, as Terry is out for them, if Cahill and Luiz play centre back for Chelsea, then our forwards should tear them apart.

Yeah your probably right but people not supporting him does not help. The amount of moaning from 110 the other night that i could hear was pretty sad. I dont think he will play tomo regardless as JL will be back but i dont like how some elements of our support dont understand the importance of helping and supporting players who are struggling.

I like your style of man management. You could have had a bright future on a different team. Sigh.

Exactly: you beat me over this opinion. It is probably due to that You are wiser than me and spell english infinitely better than me.

Mind all: this is not just an(two) opinion(s), it's a certainty: because if Savic shall start at center back tomorrow night Mancio4ever shall start to advocate Pep.

Fu - the only true player amongst us - is right on the benefit of the fair support but, as someone more eloquent than me recently said, enough is enough!

2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

there must be some truth, then!

Don't think he is as bad as some are saying. He makes a few mistakes but who doesn't?Carl could tell you plenty Joleon has made and a lot would say he has been our best defender this year.
