love this guy....top player. i always rated him even back when he wore that shade of pink at arssNanal. He was the reason for silva's goal and everyone should have ran to him to celebrate that awesome tenacity.

was very good again, the joke has been where we sit is that he's committed two fouls all season and he was booked and sent off for it.

I just hope someone works on his crossing with him in the summer and he'll be a complete full back then

Some piece of business getting him at the price we did.I would reckon he has been the best left back in the league this season.

Got to agree, worked his bollox off tonight and was always ready for the outlet when needed, or even when he wasn't. His chasing down of the ball that led to the goal was top quality.

He's played 5 of the last 6 games and I think in the last 2 he's been excellent particulally. His all round game, not just defensively. Bar his crossing of course!

He's far better than Kolorov at everything but crossing and kicking the ball hard and for me we should only rotate him when he needs it rather than for the sake of it.

Kolorov is the second best left back in the squad and he'll either have to improve his game or get used to it.

Well I'd have Zab as my second choice, especially if defending was required. Probably followed by Lescott, Barry, silva, Aguero and then maybe Kolarov.

Far superior to Kolarov as he is a player you can rely on defensively, frustrated me no end when Mancini was not picking him in champs league games.

I keep telling you he works on his crossing in the extra work he does at the end of training so it's not for lack of trying and effort.

And that sprinting after the ball for the Silva goal is also something I see him do at times in training games.Top professional

Really like Clichy. Comes across as a really intelligent, well mannered bloke. Underrated footballer too.

wish all players had travelled to north london in the same mood as Gael's highlight on the Silva goal!
you never get used to the trickery of human mind...

3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

Defensively Zabaletta, going forward Kolorov.

Ive heard good things from Notts Forest mate about Greg Cunningham incidently. Might be worth looking at him in pre season to see if he would be up to a backup role?

I'd sell Kolorov in the summer. I dont think he has the heart for the fight when the going gets tough. I thought in the Napoli 2 game he was absolutly abysmal in a high pressure situation and for a left back for be so poor defensivly isnt good enought from where I sit, no matter how hard he can kick a ball.

I wernt sure what to think of clichy when he 1st came but I think he's solved our left back position. Also with kolarov he's such a frustrating player and is only really good enough against weak teams. when we played scum in the fa cup Valencia tortured him and was (in my opinion) for 2 goals. I don't think clichys really had a bad game for city

Thought he had a classy game, now I've mentioned it he comes across as a classy footballer. Not sure why his crossing rate is being slated it isn't that bad. Say like Silva's corners.

Said in the match thread his chasing to pressure the whole Brom defence on his own, making them fucl up was pure brilliance, one of the highlights of the game tonight.

off topic, what shame Micah didn't net that chance, another brilliant bit of play. Oh as was his lil chipped ball earlier.

ok as you were back to Clichy

I played left back for the school team despite being right footed, granted the right winger ghosted past me each time on his way to a hat trick, but fuck it I'm a more solid unit now

Our most underrated this season in my opinion.

Saying that in a clichy love in thread sounds odd, but he has been really good for me. Can't remember screaming at my Telly at him once all year :)
