What fucks me off most is the blatant bullshit about him needing to get back to fitness. He missed 2 games due to suspension not injury.

He had the same training camp as everyone, he's fat and slow because he's a lazy fucking cunt!

This is the point. It's a month AFTER a full season, not before. He's already played a game before today. If a player had been out with a serious injury you would expect him to look like that. Tevez moved better straight after coming back from playing fucking golf & eating pies!

It's clear he hasn't been looking after himself like someone who really cares about playing in a tournament for England. Probably thought that we'd already be knocked out without his wonderful influence to help us, so didn't bother staying fit.

We all know that Rooney on his day can be very good but all the nonsense talked about him prior to this tournament was a joke. The team showed great spirit in the Sweden game to come from 2.1 down and we should have stuck with that team for the next game.

But no Hodgson and all the media idiots said we must play shrek as he is world class. So he plays and we look poor against Ukraine and scrape through.Shrek scores despite having a shocking game and for some it's an example of his class that he can be "rusty" yet still carry us through.Total garbage and tonight he looked like a pub player playing with his pub mate Young and it's no surprise we looked so bad.

Would we have won with Mario insread of Shrek?

Possibly.

With Mario & AJ instead of Shreck & Young, definitely.

Can't we go and adopt a few promising Brazilian orphans? Just enough for a full England squad in ten year's time? Brazilian flair and ball skills with English work rate. Perfect.

I was just glad Shrek missed that overhead or we'd have heard nothing else. Once again, he was shit for England. He was also made to look unfit by Pirlo, who appears to be about 70.

I just had an image of Clive Tyldesley sat there last night, crying into his cocoa, saying 'i still love you, Wayne'

He missed the overhead attempt because he did'nt shin it this time.

Someone on the tv this morning said it was just beyond his reach. No, he timed his jump wrong and was on the way down when the ball got to him.

Funny how the commentators picked up on that this time... when it actually happened not a word was mentioned.

Rooney is a great Premier League player but world class? Do me a favour. Time and again his touch lets him down on the biggest international stages.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Pirlo are "world class" - Rooney is a long way short. England have 1 potentially world class player and that sadly is the left full-back; scumbag of a person though he may be, Cashley is the only current squad member deserving of that label.

Spot on.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Nope. World Class implies what it says. Joe hasnt demonstrated that nearly enough at Champions League or international level to deserve of that label.

It also doesnt help his cause when his main tactic in a penalty shoot-out appears to be yelling out loud or making faces at the penalty taker. Buffon's approach is better, ie look calm and relaxed and actually save a spot kick.

Joe's a top keeper, but we rush in to labelling players world class in this country fuelled by the tabloid media and their tub thumping on our Premier League and national team.
