I love under the radar signings like this. No pressure on the kid at all...going off the two youtube videos ive seen (i know i know - samaras, alves etc) he seems to have great technique and almost a touch of the Yaya/Vieira about him.

Looks a very good prospect. Could improve leaps and bounds playing with players at the level that we have.

I'm the worse for wear now to watch you tube but I saw him in action on there before & (I think) he was the geezer I was very impressed with when watching Eng U21 as well agree 100%. Love this kind of thing.

So long as we don't trust him before hes proved himself. like Savic.

Nir Biton has been on the radar for quite a while. He had a trial with us and I'm sure they classed him as the 'Next Yaya'. His agent talked to anyone he could about the possible move and it's no wonder he's being shown now - something to do with National Service for Israel.

Looks a decent prospect, I just wonder if Mancini wants to turn him into a striker, similar to Ibra?

he has been discussed before on the board, be interesting to see how he gets on, the "new yaya" is a bit ott though, as ted says lets give him a chance and take it slowly with him.

National service for Israel? Do all Israeli's HAVE to or is it voluntary? If it is, he is a cunt and I hope he fails. If not, good luck to the kid and welcome to Manchester

How many times do we (and others) get a little bit carried away by 'the next big thing', all this stuff about being the next yaya is a bit premature to say the least, he may have good potential its up to HIM to fulfill it.
Best of luck to him.

Nobody is getting carried away, it was spouted in the media when he came for a trial. I don't think any City fan would look at him and say he's the next Yaya.

Facts:He's quite big, 6'4" and plays central midfield.

Conclusion:The next Yaya!

Nah, he's white. Therefore, move over MJ, he's the new Colin Bell.

As long as he doesn't turn into the new MJ...

He's going on tour to Austria and then talks will resume about a deal, its been agreed by player and club but apparently there are huge issues with a work permit because he doesn't have enough caps etc, so City have to appeal it on the grounds of 'exceptional talent', effectively he's on trial.

Could potentially be McDonald Mariga all over again I suppose.

I still think his name sounds like a gravy manufacturer.
