Llorente

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Llorente

Postby Mike J » Tue Aug 21, 2012 9:14 am

Interesting quote from his agent. The london club is surely spurs, they are deseperate fro a striker. Rumours of dzeko going ar still flying about so i wonder if we are in for him or the agent just trying to drum up interest (as per)

Fernando Llorente's agent has admitted the Athletic Bilbao ace could move to the Premier League before the close of the transfer window.

The Spain international seems set to leave Bilbao after turning down a new deal at the Basque outfit.

Juventus are thought to be leading the chase for Llorente having already made several bids for the giant striker's services.

However, the likes of Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been credited with an interest in the 27-year-old.

Llorente's representative, Carlos Arino Bajo, claims two Premier League clubs - one from London and one from Manchester - have expressed an interest in signing the player.

"Tomorrow [Wednesday] Llorente will speak to his destination," Arino Bajo told the Daily Telegraph. "It is very, very possible he will decide to go to the Premier League.

"I don't know the [choice of] club at the moment but there are two [interested] clubs. One is in London, and one is in Manchester."

There are constant rumours that Dzeko is available, so it's not impossible that Lllorente could come here, but the rags are in desperate shit if they slip up this season, so it's not impossible they could push the boat out & bid for him; he took the piss out of their defence.

Spurs would be ideal though. Bale feeding Lllorente is an awesome proposition.

Surely the rags coundnt afford this lad now. Shrek, RVP, the little twat, welbeck and that other new lad. they have more strikers than we did a few years back!

Agreed, i dont want spurs to get him. top top player.

They can't afford RVP.

They are desperate to maintain their status, so I wouldn't rule out anything. They can always sell Rooney next season if the shit hits the fan.

No chance ted of Llorente going to united, i dont think he will come here either, it looks like agent or club trying to up the bids around for him.

Not a bad shout. They really need a striker with strength & presence to replace Drogba.

29 goals last season in all comps last season - if the money is right then we should try and get him - can't see the point in losing dzeko to gain him that said
Shame we didn't get a decent look at him in the euros - for some reason Torres kept him out of the side... baffling

I think if this is true, Arse is his destination.

They look the most obvious choice.

Not sure about his age, 28 next feb - not much of a resale value.

Edin's a clumsy get, but he gets goals

Huh? The only reason I would ever see what that fucking stain would ever write is when knobsocks like you quote him. 15 all? I aint fucking playing his spastic, nonsensical bullshit game, you fucktard. My only hope is when Dzeko fucks off to whatever shit club will take the fucking donkey, that not only will the dickhead lose all interest in City, but he'll take that fucking wanker BiB with him. Cunt that he is normally, but how the fuck he isn't hasn't been banned for unleashing the king of the fucktards on us is beyond me.

He would be a disaster in the prem.Good finisher but would be like a slow version of Edin, yes a slow version of Edin.I would prefer we work with what we have got unless something very interesting comes along.
