Jose talking bollox again.

Etoo was on the pitch that night and the yellow cards didn't come at the time he said they came but what's a Mario story without some embellishment eh?

Almost all Balotelli stories are at least partially made up.

For all the good form dzeko has shown I am afraid that Mancini will give balotelli another chance to end our title hope this season. Yes he is young and need games so please send him on loan to Newcastle or other clubs. Three top strikers is well enough for any club

Some geezer on BMoan or Twitter met him the other night and Mario said he is off to Milan.

I consider performances fir my beloved blues when making my own opinionated assement and have come to the conclusion I am willing to cut ties

nomination or not if you don't put any effort in in a sky blue shirt then that's where it begins and ends for me

And to be fair I pissed my sides when I saw he was nominated

I was taken aback myself but to be fair the people that decide the nominations are paid for their opinions within the game.

I think he's gone myself, so I won't fight his corner too vociferously but to say he lacks talent or potential is a bit wide of the mark in my humble.

I'm with Mario on this one. If I was playing top football (about as likely as finding a rag fan from Manchester) and the bloke who is going to replace Ferguson when he retires singles me out for 14 minutes of treatment like that I'd get myself sent off before the whistle is blown for the second half.

For that sublime lay on to Sergio in May, for the two goals at the swamp, and - even - for his cute wink at Mr Ferdinand, I will forgive Mario a lot, and give him as much slack as we gave Carlito.

Happen it's naive of me to believe it, but I think he can yet come good for us.

Seems Roberto has forgotten Mario, if this is to be believed.

Mancini buoyed by City's prolific attacking trinity

By Jim van Wijk

Monday December 31 2012

MANCHESTER CITY manager Roberto Mancini believes he has three of the best strikers in the business.

While Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez have been grabbing much of the attention, leading Manchester United clear at the top of the Premier League, Mancini has warned that reigning champions City have their own lethal trio.

Edin Dzeko was recalled to the starting XI at Norwich on Saturday and repaid his manager's faith with a quick-fire double to put the visitors 2-0 up inside four minutes.

Argentina forward Sergio Aguero was also on target in the 4-3 win, which was achieved despite the dismissal of midfielder Samir Nasri and kept City seven points behind leaders United.

Carlos Tevez was left warming the bench at Carrow Road, but could come back into contention for the home game with Stoke tomorrow. Where the erratic Mario Balotelli fits in is for Mancini to decide, but the former Inter Milan boss is enjoying the sight of Dzeko, Aguero and Tevez terrorising defences.

He said: "We changed against Norwich because we played three games in six days and needed to have fresh players, but we are sure that all of our strikers can start to score like they did here.

"We have won games with Carlos and Aguero, Edin and Carlos, Aguero and Edin; all these three players, if they work hard like this, they can score important goals for the season."

Mancini insists the current seven-point gap to United is "not a problem", bearing in mind the position from which City went on to beat their fierce rivals in the dramatic conclusion to last season.

Finished

And Dzeko believes "nothing is finished" after feeling he went some way to proving a point against Norwich.

The Bosnian, who has often been utilised as an impact player from the bench, was unfortunate not to have sealed his industrious display with a hat-trick after 67 minutes, when his shot hit the post and then went into the net off the back of Norwich goalkeeper Mark Bunn. "It is not the first time, but the manager gave me the chance to play and I think I paid him back," Dzeko said. "We will see what the future brings."
