We bought this player and he showed a lot of promise. Lately we have not been told anything. We could do with another striker to help rest the others in the rotation the count operates. Had anyone heard anything informally? What has the club said ? The count said last week he was fit, what's going on?

I'd swap him for anybody right now. Looking very much like there's little chance of him playing for us.

He's back in training and he may feature on Wednesday! Well at least that's what I've heard

Errr ... that's what we have been hearing before every game where there's a chance of him being named I. The starting XI ... hell, we didn't even take an extra player (Leicester) so when he got sick last minute and pulled out (again) we had to name only six subs ... perhaps it was Pellegrini's way of forcing him into a team (by taking exactly 18 players on the team bus) but even then he ducked out last minute ... God only knows what the real story is but it stinks by the day.

This for me is the strangest situation and signing I can ever remember. When our own manager doesn't even seem sure hes actually injured, it raises lots of weird questions.

Anyway I'm still optimistic hes just had niggles and keeps rushing himself back too fast and was accidentally making it worse each time. Even if he wasn't settling well in Manchester I'd have thought he'd at least want to keep playing football. The longer the situation goes on the less sense it makes.

There is something more to this situation with Jovetic. We all know it.

There has been a lack off transparency with his injuries, contradictions ,misinformation. I don't blame the Club, at the end off the day I don't see what City can do if a player keeps telling them he is injured, other than try and protect their investment by trying to release something plausible to satisfy the fans natural curiosity.

Depending who you believe then Jovetic had his heart set on a move to Juventus in the summer. Unfortunately Juventus could not afford the transfer fee. City could and bought him.

As we all know he has hardly kicked a ball for 6 months. Yet strangely it appears not to have dissuaded Juventus or Fiorentina from inquiring about his availability on loan for the rest off the season.

I have this irrational fear that maybe the player or his agent might be deliberately trying to decrease the value off our investment to such an extent that City might be forced to take what they can get and take a heavy hit and lose a substantial outlay in the process.

All will be revealed in the coming weeks, hopefully he will return and play a key part in our run in,we badly need him,and i will be proved to have an over active imagination. If he doesn't return though, and starts citing that he is still injured then in my opinion you have to start thinking there could be an ulterior motive to his long term absence, and that him and his agent might be taking the metaphorical out off City to engineer his cut price move to Juventus in the summer when our £24,000 000 investment is vastly reduced to such an extent that Juventus can afford it, win win for Jovetic, his agent ,Juventus ,City big losers.

Sorry, I smell a rat here, I totally distrust Italian Clubs.
