He was sacked because he upset every player and he had no plan b. He took us as far as he could.

Pretty much can close this thread now, that is about as concise an answer one can get.

Having thought it out, I've come to the conclusion this thread is knee jerk and totally unnecessary

To keep me interested.

As I've said before, it may be my age, but Mancini is the only manager that has turned me off watching us. Not even Pearce did that. Maybe I was used to mediocrity when Pearce was in charge, but crikey, I think I'd be putting my money into supporting a Bosnian third-tier team if Mancio was still in charge now, and watching us on the telly 'when it was convenient'.

At least we lost 3-2 in a 'really could do with a win' game, than drew 0-0 in an 'absolutely must win' game.

Astonishing thread. Can't actually believe it. Mancini is part of our history. He played a huge role for us and improved us but he has had his time and has moved on. Most City fans have. Lets get behind our current manager who I think is a great appointment. If people love Mancini so much, good luck to them. Follow Galatasary instead

Above all else the reason Mancini was let go was because he would not buy into Txiki's vision, his ego wouldn't allow him to relinquish control.

We need to move on and all these threads are good for is seeing the man disrespected which for me is a shame given the success he brought us.

Because every day going into work was a total nightmare, if you were a player or the tea lady his aggressive and dictator style hung over the club like a dark cloud.

Probably the worst employee MCFC have ever had, one who showed no respect for his colleagues , certainly one who threatened anyone with the sack should they even dare speak to him.

You will not find a single person who was not jumping for Joy the day he left.

And don't get me going on the personal issues.

I wouldnt swap teams for love or money. My TEAM is City. I will follow them and whoever plays or manages them through thick and thin. If a player or manager I like leaves I will get over it and support the guy or guys that come in to replace them. I will not hanker after them a year after they have left like a lovesick teenager.

I get you were a big fan of Mancini. Most were when he was manager. Everybody, including Pellegrini, has a shelf life, and Mancini reached the end of his and was replaced. If you can't get over that, then thats why you should follow the man and not the club
