Tonight's game

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Tonight's game

Postby Mikhail Chigorin » Fri Nov 11, 2016 7:17 pm

Is anyone remotely interested ??

Thought not. England will be awful and probably succeed in making Scotland look 'good'.

Having said that, there aren't many sides that could achieve that outcome but I'm confident England will not fail us.

I reckon Scotland could win by a couple of goals, especially as it looks as though Shrek is back where he belongs.

Uuuggghhh.

What chance has England got against a team of 10 referees?

Golf Du Sor, down the south of the island. I won't be playing golf if course, just coincidence that we've booked into a golf spa ;-)

Why are sterling and stones the only two players being criticised by the commentary?

Glen Hoddle?

Joe Hart must also be in line for some as well.

Assume Shrek has been crap, yet is being rimmed as usual

Sterling doing what Sterling does for England - missing chance after chance. Hope he improves next Saturday.

I'm guessing the commentary is by Tyldesley, a self-confessed rag, if that helps with understanding the anti-City bias.

For all the Rag players, he was the best ;-)

Quite strange how they will always downplay our players contributions but at least they did allude to Stones having far better ability and perception than the rest if the defence.

I thought Hoddle was bigging up Stones. Basically saying he likes how he plays and it's a shame the England squad aren't as good as the players he's now used to playing with

I'm not sure if it was him but they did allude to it, and a could be a way forward.

Anyone else a bit surprised to see Belgium score 8 and KDB not to be among the goalscorers. Assisted a few I believe, but still

I didn't see it but apparently he played as a deep lying playmaker, and very well by all accounts. I guess the oppo need to be taken into consideration but food for thought for Pep.

Will we see Big Dave and Nolito facing Stones and Raheem tonight?

I bet there'll be a few English lads/girls on here watching just hoping to see England get beat.
