It's a shame I don't have the channel broadcasting the Eredivisie games. I opted for the PL and don't think the Dutch footy is worth another 15 quid month. I will definitely check the highlight shows and check the NAC fan forums, though.

Think they'd be more like the C team compared to who we expect to loan out to Girona, in all fairness.

we have a "partnership" with this club for, basically, the sole purpose of getting first crack at any of their promising dutch youngsters but i dont get why we want to send all of our young kids here. it's just not a good enough league to help the club make a decision about them and their potential/talent.
at least Girona will play 3 good clubs in their league.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Enes Unal. 12 million quid.
Do I need to say more?

At least the goal was scored by Ambrose assited by Manu Garcia.
Angelino and Horsefield both started as well, whereas Agyepong and Fernandes were both subbed on.

I recorder the highlights show, but haven't had time to watch it yet, but will let you know what they had to say once I have. I honestly don't know how many of the CFC players that were on for Vitesse. Will try to look it up.

Looked it up now. They have four players on loan in Arnhem. Only one was in the staring line up. Two were subbed on fairly late in the second period.

Horsfield is no longer a City player, he joined Breda permanently this summer.

I know, but I figured people would be interested in knowing how he's doing anyway.
I forgot the Spanish lad who was at Girona last season, Pablo Marí. he was also in the staring 11. He's 23, though, so not really in the same bracket as the other kids.

I've watched the highlights now. They obviously mentioned that it was the "battle of England", but didn't make too much of it. There was only one Chelsea loanee on the pitch after all.
NAC's back four, of which three are City players (or two plus Horsefield), looked absolutely abysmal. That Marí guy from Spain looked shaky as fuck and neither Horsefield or Angelino really had a good day at the office. But to be fair, I do think this was the first time the four of them played together.
The few Breda attacks they showed all went through Manu Garcia. Fernandes also had a few actions that looked promising.

Yes, it seems like it was a Bridge too far for them.

All the City boys apart from Agyepong are in the starting lineup for NAC in the home debut against PSV today. It's 0-0 after ten minutes, but I expect a slaughter.
